Smoothly soothing 80's-styled indie-pop, with beautiful harmonies, these two friends have made a wistfully wry album rich in summer vibes and autumnal emotion.
The production is superbly warm; bedsit intimacy with studio clarity. And even though most songs follow well-worn pop templates, others are wonky enough to mark this out as something more.
Hopefully, this isn't a one-off, because HAMJAM has a lot to offer.
